We cordially invite you to tag along with us on our journey to China to be united with our daughter. Listed below is our itinerary as well as links to the pages of our travel journal. These pages contain a summary of the day's events and a few pictures. We'll try to post as often as time and technology permit.

Itinerary

Wednesday, March 18
Depart O'Hare for Beijing. (14 hour flight)

Thursday, March 19
Arrive in Beijing @ 3:25 pm and check into the Kuntai Royal Hotel.

March 20 & 21
Beijing sightseeing: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace, Great Wall, & an acrobatic show.

Sunday, March 22
Catch a midday flight (3.5 hours) to Nanning and check into The Majestic Hotel.

Monday, March 23
Go to the Civil Affairs Bureau in the afternoon and be united with Hannah Yuzhu!!!

Tuesday, March 24
Go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to the complete adoption registration and then go to the Notary Office to the complete notarization procedure.

March 25 & 26
Sightseeing, shopping, visit her orphanage & possibly her school (Thursday), and pickup notarized paperwork.

Friday, March 27
Pick up Hannah's passport, catch an evening flight (1.25 hours) to Guangzhou, and check into the White Swan Hotel.

Saturday, March 28
Get Hannah's passport photo taken and have her medical exam.

March 29 & 30
Sightseeing and shopping.

Tuesday, March 31
Visa application submitted to the U.S. Consulate, sight-seeing, and shopping.

Wednesday, April 1
Group oath at the U.S. Consulate and receive Hannah's visa.

Thursday, April 2
Catch a morning flight (3hours) to Beijing and afternoon flight (13.5 hours) to O'Hare. We're scheduled to land at 4:30 pm. We're Home!!
