Hoping For Hannah

This is Hannah's room. While we plan to add a few more personal touches, our intention is to leave the room a bit sparse so it doesn't overwhelm her when she first arrives. We also want to give Hannah the opportunity to pick out a few things in order to make the room her own..

As you can see the room is pink ... Poetic Princess pink to be exact. It seems most girls Hannah's age like pink, so that's the direction we went. We hope she likes it!

Her Room Before Renovations:

Hannah's room was originally our home office. When we were assembling our dossier many moons ago, we would post reminders, things to do, questions, and other tidbits of wisdom on this wall to help us keep track of things. Don't laugh! It really helped us stay organized through the paper chase.

In the last photo you can see we also used her room to store all the merchandise (i.e. junk) for the garage sale we held to help fund our adoption ... and to get rid of junk.
